Yog-swadhyaya is the correspondence
course totally free (also in Marathi and Hindi) to study deeply the Yog
Sutras of Patanjali. Patanjali's Yog Sutras is considered to be the most
authoritative treatise on Yoga. The main purpose of Yoga is to bring higher
enlightenment to all mankind. In other words the means and aim of Yoga is to
feel and live in the timeless state of equanimity, purity and divinity.
Practice of Yoga kindles the wisdom of intelligence through right action to
live in peace, tranquility and serenity.
The Patanjali Yoga Sutras
contains four Chapters. Eight questions on each Chapter are framed here to have
the overall idea about the Yog Sutras of Patanjali. It is requested to answer these questions in
about 200 words each after through study of each Chapter and send for perusal
after three months. The science of Yoga, interpreted by I.K. Taimni published
by The Theosophical Publishing House,
Adyar, Madras-600020 (INDIA) is recommended for the study.
